Patterns fasciate me and I can’t help myself in creating them. Over the years in designing for textiles, patterns have dominated my forms. It’s a theraputic form of making chaos into order. It's a way of simplifying an experience by using repitition. It is also a way of illustrating infinity, giving clues to an underlying order. My work is now moving towards artworks as well as my textiles. Seen here is the beginning of this and also a wonderful collaboration with artist Cheri Waititi.
