Introducing a new print called Oneida, which carries a personal connection to the Davies’ family history. Her husband is a descendant of the Burnett family from the Oneida Homestead in Fordell, Whanganui. A family visit was organised, allowing them to spend a beautiful afternoon at the homestead, thanks to the kind arrangement of the current owners. This print is inspired by a snapshot taken of some wallpaper in one of the rooms. Exploring heritage is a big part of the themes of Ali’s designs, creating connections from the past to the present.
